Finding glasses that suit your facial features is a science. We provide a consultation free of charge where you can try on the vast array of glasses we have on offer in the practice. Whether you are after an everyday pair of glasses or something a little bit different we are here to help.
After Care
It's important to us that once you have your dream pair of glasses your journey does not stop there. We offer follow up appointments to future proof your vision by using our unique Triton 3D eye scanner and our MPOD pigment scanner to screen your eyes for macular degeneration.
Our story started over 30 years before Ray Lewis Opticians existed. Owner and sole optometrist Pramod-Ray Patel began his career with famed opticians Dollond and Aitchison working his way to the top of his field over the next three decades within the NHS, private sector and his own practices in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.
He noticed whilst working within the field of optometry patients were often given the time they were allotted as opposed to the time they needed. His discomfort with this impersonality formed the foundations on which Ray-Lewis Opticians was built.
From strong foundations, a practice was built where Pramod-Ray's observations of the profession manifested themselves in constructive change, a new way of looking at patient care and future proofing vision. In 2020 Ray-Lewis Opticians is a place where each patient's visual and lifestyle requirements are addressed in full.
